KATBALOGANON ASSOCIATION
OF METRO MANILA

March 20, 2006

Dear ______________

As a legacy to young and future Catbaloganons, the
Katbaloganon Association of Metro Manila will publish a Coffee Table Book,
“CATBALOGAN”.  We intend to have 1,000 copies of the book available for
distribution in time for the celebration of the Feast of St.
Bartholomew, the Apostle, Patron Saint of Catbalogan, on August 24, 2006.

The hard cover book, consisting of 150 pages in full color,
will highlight the history of Cabalogan, from its establishment as a
Jesuit settlement and trading post in 1615, up to the present.  It will
contain feature articles and photographs on the various facets of the
town’s cultural, social, economic, and political life, as well as brief
biographical sketches of the people who have significantly influenced
its development.  There will be historical vignettes on such subjects as
religion, education, environment, occupation and trade, food, dances,
government, scenic spots, etc., in Catbalogan.  A section will also
focus on the Katbaloganon Associations in various parts of the world, and
their activities.

We have received enthusiastic responses from many fellow
Catbaloganons, including those residing outside the Philippines, and they
have agreed to help us in the project.

For this purpose, we would like to invite you to get
involved in the project by sending us copies of your file photographs and/or
you could alos write articles particularly about activities of
Catbaloganons abroad which we could use in the book.  The articles may be sent
to my e-mail address: eanachura@arellanolaw.edu.

May we alos solicit your support for the project, either as
a Corporate/Organizational Sponsor, or as an individual Patron or
Benefactor.  Enclosed is a Subscription Sheet which you may accomplish for
this purpose.  Rest assured that for this support you will be
acknowledged in the book.  May we, however, that the Subscription Sheet be
returned to us before June 30, 2006, per our production schedule.

Thank you very much for your help.  With your support, we
can all look forward to the success of this publication.

Very truly yours,

ANTONIO “Eddie” NACHURA
President

Encl. As stated.
